schermerhorn symphony mapping

projection mapping  - content creation  - media servers

MEPTIK worked with Orange Thread Media to projection map Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Hall for their annual symphony ball.

Themed after Truman Capote's 1966 Black and White Ball at the Plaza Hotel in New York City, the symphony's guests were required to dress in black and white, and the outside of the symphony hall was transformed into the Plaza Hotel.

Drawing on specific attributes of the Plaza, such as it's iconic front entrance, diamond-shaped stained glass, and gold accents, MEPTIK created content that blended the Classical Greek architecture of the Schermerhorn with the Plaza's unique French Renaissance style.

MEPTIK also handled the mapping aspect of the event using custom-built media servers.
