The NHL on TNT studio at Turner Studios in Atlanta has been upgraded with the latest in broadcasting technology. Turner's new studio blends projection imagery with LED screens and Augmented Reality (AR) in one cohesive environment.

The Meptik technical team designed, installed and commissionedall backend systems, including the award-winning disguise range.

Our technical team stepped in to design, install, and commission the systems all while training Turner's teams in the day-to-day operation of the new facility. Utilizing the award-winning disguise range, over 270º of visual content wrapping around the entire studio can be captured.

By combining projection mapping, usually found in the live events world, and LED display technology, the world of visual effect possibilities opens up. Both systems are communicating with each other, enabling the synchronization of graphic displays throughout the studio.

The entire studio was built in just under two months, right in time for the beginning of hockey season.
